To truly say the words, “Not my kingdom but Yours – Not my will be done but Yours” come with a price.
It is willingly placing oneself into a servant role before his or her master. It is no longer about our rights or even our hopes and dreams. We have crossed the line where self dies and Christ now rules. If our statement of declaration is real, our lives are all about God’s kingdom and God’s glory. No aspect of my life is untouched. All my relationships and resources are under His authority. It changes everything.
“…But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.”
